Tyrone Keogh (born 1982) is a South African actor and director who grew up in the industry as the son of actor Danny Keogh and producer Debbie Keogh. He is best known for his leading role as Jack van Reenen in the M-Net soap opera The Wild and his current role as Gavin Field in the series Summertide. Career Highlights Keogh started behind the scenes at age 14 as a set painter and propsman before transitioning to acting. He holds a BA in Live Performance from AFDA and was named GQ South Africa’s Best Dressed Man in 2012. Notable Film & Television Roles Summertide (2024–Present): Stars as Gavin Field, a marine biologist. The Girl from St. Agnes (2019): Played the role of Shane Moolman. 24 Hours to Live (2017): Appeared as Morrow alongside Ethan Hawke. Black Sails (2017): Played the character Adams in the pirate drama. Dominion (2014–2015): Portrayed Vince in the supernatural series. The Wild (2011–2013): His breakout lead role as Jack van Reenen. Blood Diamond (2006): Had an early role as an Enlistment Officer. Personal Life & Interests He is married to British actress Shivaani Ghai. An avid surfer and outdoorsman, Keogh often chooses projects that allow him to work near the ocean, such as Summertide, which is filmed in his home area of Kommetjie.
